Can anyone buy cannabis at The Lakes Dispensary? Are there restrictions?
Similar to alcohol and tobacco, recreational cannabis purchases in Minnesota come with a few clear requirements. You must be at least 21 years old and present valid identification before entering. A driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport are all accepted. Medical marijuana patients with a valid medical card may also qualify for reduced taxes at the time of purchase.
What do I need to bring to purchase cannabis at The Lakes Dispensary?
Your driver’s license, state ID or passport will be required to enter the building. There are no exceptions at this time

Where can I consume recreational cannabis?
Per Minnesota law – “Cannabis can be used by people 21 and older on private property (unless the owner prohibits use of cannabis on their property), private residences and at places with approved licenses or an event permit (however, no licenses or event permits are available at this time).” NOTE: Communities may have local ordinances that prohibit smoking or vaping cannabis in public places.
